i took the wbjee in the year 2016.i attained a rank of 1739.i always wanted to study computer science.since i did not get jadavpur university,this college was my second option.heritage is the most reputed private college of kolkata.and studying here is indeed great as not everyone gets this oppurtunity

the course curriculum is great and thoroughly revised.since our college is autonomous,the syllabus is in the hands of the college itself and not the governing university.as such the syllabus is revised regularly so as to keep students up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies.

yes our college provides internships with companies like tcs and capmegini.the average pay during internships is around ₹25000/month

the placement is great.almost 100 percent when it comes to cse that too many being placed in tcs and tech mahindra.average salary is around 3.4pla.also many who apply off campus get jobs with pay even upto 22lpa.that speaks of the sheer quality of the students produced by this college.

there are regular events organised by variuos clubs that are present an run actively in the college.we get to attend many workshops,and learn a whole load of new things,that too without paying anything for participating in those workshops.on top of that we have the body known has student council who organize huge cultural and technical fests that are widely popular in the city and many colleges participate in it.we also get to go toiits and nits to attend workshops and learn new things.

the fee structure is absolutely feasible as per the standards of a private college.its less than 1 lakh p.a.Compare this with colleges of south.there the fee is on an avg 3lpa.nd u get the same or in some cases even worse facilities.so our college is fees is absolutely satisfying and easy on parents pocket.on top of that meritious students are given stipends and scholarships by college and university.

i havnt availed any.but ihave seen students with scholarships based on need or their performances in academics and co curriculars so yes scholarships are available for students who need them.

the campus life is graet and interactive.no one is let out.every one is allowed to interact with everyone.seniors are friendly.gender ration is good with boys and girls almost equal.labs have modern equipments.we have huge plying grounds but ifeel that sports shoyuld be promoted a bit more as the playgrouns generally remain empty.there are technical and literery competitions all throughou the year which keeos students active.

in the first year we are not given hostel so as to prevent ragging.its a good move on part of college.there are many pgs and hostels around the college campus that provide good enough standards.as far as i have heard from seniors the college hostel is good and the food is way better than standards of a hostel.

our alumni network is great they visit the college constantly and give us motivational and study tips.they help us know what they had to do in order to attain succes and help us know how we can be succesful too.senior students are friendly and there is no ragging on campus.they are always ready to help us when we need.

no.the schedule is not at all hetic.its easy on mind and works our concepts thoroughly so that we dnt stop working but also prevents us from being overworked.study pattern is not at all redundant with off topic studies as seen in many colleges.there are regular class tests two internal assesments.and semester exams covering whole sylabus of the semester in a thorough manner.

After getting the wbjee rank,we had the conine choice filling.i filled the firt choice as jadavpur and second s heritage.since i couldnt get ju,i got heritage in the online counselling.i was pleased.after that we had the in person counselling for seat confirmation at a local university.few weeks later we had to attend the main college counselling where we submitted our documents and paid the fees.

the kind of faculty which i found in heritage were wayh better than what u had expected from private college.i mean many of them are past teachers from iit or nit with storehouse of knowledge ready to open for exploration to anyone who wants to explore.the faculty is dedicated and always ready to help whenevr u need them be itn in person or over media.they also help us in doing innovative projects with their full fledged support
