Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this field because it has very great scope as we all will need AI and software in the near future. In my college there is 1 teacher for every 50 students on avg. It seems quiet a lot but still it is fine. The qualification of the faculty on bare minimum is to be a graduate. The teching method in my college is quiet good as we all understand what the teacher says. This time we only got 3 moths for the preparation of semester exams and they were quite difficult but still you can crack it with 15 days of study.
Placement Experience
The students from the last year are more likely to have more opportunities in getting placement but there are internship offers that are given for any semester student if he has the skill for the same. There are many companies visited in our college and some of them are Wipro, Infosys, and HDFC bank, etc. The highest package is 10 lack this year and the average is 4 to 5 lacs per annum. The profiles are web developer, finance analyst, administration type job, etc. 20 to 30% of students get placed according to my view on the campus and others go for higher studies or get jobs from off-campus also. My plan is to go for higher studies after getting a bachelor's degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 56000 for my course in the college. I think an avg. A person can fulfill this much amount. There is a scholarship for EWS at my college. There is an internship fair that happens every year in the college where you can apply for internships as well as placements.
Campus Life
Life on campus is very lively and energetic. You can see many students from across India and of different traditions. The annual fest was conducted in the month of March in our college. There is a big library in our college where you can find many books related to your studies also. The sports part is quite good as there is 1 huge ground for football or cricket and 1 basketball ground as well as a volleyball court in our college. There are many societies in our college but still, there are many social media handles run by the students in our college.
Admission
The entrance exam applicable for admission to DU was CUET in the previous year. The eligibility criteria for my course Bsc (Hons.) C.S was English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths. The application form and fees can be found through the website of CUET as well as the website of DU. As I was from OBC category I got reservation and it can be availed through submitting OBC certificate. This time there was a lot of things happening in the admission process because of CUET but it was fine in my opinion.
