Remarks

College is good in career aspect. But few Departments are bad and needs improvement. Canteen facilities and sports needs a improved to a greater extent.

Entrance Preview

I wrote PGCET and got 1010 ranking and opted this college as it is well established, near by and good placements

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure needs an improvement for sure as it has less practical knowledge and more of theory. In this fast growing IT life, companies prefer people with more of practical knowledge. Also, your percentage doesn't matter much, but your skills does. They need encourage students to opt for Internship in the final semester rather doing a project in college.

Internships Opportunities

No they don't. Haven't heard as of now. But sad to do an Internship here, as they growth and knowledge would be limited.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good as far I know. Lots of companies flew in. Good thing is that placements will be clubbed with the main college. 75% of the class got placed and many with couple of offers. Sad part is, we had to attend some unnecessary placement classes in the semester holidays, which helped nothing.

College Events

3

We had something called Fest, in other words, it was college day. Again, our dept had no permission to attend the functions, activities and rather we had to sit in labs and write programs. So not a great fest though and the attendance is low for the fest

Fee Structure And Facilities

It will start easy in the 1st year and increases drastically year by year. For them to construct the buildings, they charge from us. Let them charge, but the infrastructure remains the same and not much changes at all. They charge as mentioning miscellaneous, which is always unknown.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea on that and I haven't heard about anyone availed it too. Our college is linked to Allahabad bank, so any transaction is through this bank. They force us to open the account for no reason.

Campus Life

2.5

On the whole, college is unbiased on gender, but our Dept was way narrow minded in this. We were never allowed to sit with a girl or even talking to them was sometimes a problem with the lecturers. Sports is a big zero, there is no encourage for sports.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Below par. No idea regarding the hostel facility as I never stayed in Hostel, But food is bad as we have very limited varieties and tasteless. The infrastructure of the canteen is very low standards. Same food with no energy and what can a student do?

Alumni/Alumna

They have made a group in gmail for Alumni, but it is always requesting for help them to promote the college. Nothing useful in that and hardly respond. There is no technical talk or a get together for alumni's.

Exam Structure

It was damm hectic. Especially the labs which were there thrice a week and for 3 hours per day. Bad structure is that, we had learn the programs at home and write programs in the labs. The funny part is, if you have to learn on your own and come and write it in the lab every week, what is the use of college. And if you failed to write it, you would be thrown out.

Admission

I wrote the PGCET and made the payment to the Counselling cell and I gave the confirmation letter to the college Admin Dept and I was rolled in. I had then given a Registration no. and had to pay the college library and miscellaneous fee via DD. I then had to collect the prospectus and introduced to our Dept.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is really narrow minded and they only consider your marks. For them, only if you score well, your capable and they don't consider your real talent. So it is basically a school environment with lot of tests, assignments and so on. No encouragement for fest or sports

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA course curriculum is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. It covers core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and practical lab work, which influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. With the support of good and experienced faculty, concepts are explained clearly through theory, practical sessions, assignments, and projects. Exams are conducted on a semester basis with internal assessments and end-semester examinations. The frequency and timing of exams are appropriate, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students who attend classes regularly and follow faculty guidance can perform well.
