Likes

The placements at nie is pretty good and the are connectivity and faculties kind behaviour is good.
The environment of studies is quiet good. Everyone seems to be foccused.
College is developing at a very good speed.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quiet old. They can work on buildings and classroom amenities.
Clubs are not soo much exciting and regular temporary bans keep on happening.
The cllg building is divided into sub parts.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as i was facinated with computers and related stuffs. Faculty at my college is preety good but some are really very strict. Student ratio is almost 7:1. Some of our faculty memebers are still persuing their phd degrees amd some are mtech graduates. Exams very pretty good and the new criculum which include 2 internals is quiet time saving.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Two companies visit our cllg for internship opportunites these are jp morgan chase and fidelity investments. Jpmc comes in the third sem and fidelity comes at 4th semester which is quiet good opportunity for a tech entusiast to grap early placements.

Placement Experience

Placement sin college is preety good. We have plenty lot of companies and some big tech giants like boeing,cisco, amagi. The students become eligible from the 4th sem onwards but the main companoes start comming from 6th sem. The highest packagefor our cllg is 49 lpa last year amd the average package is 11 lpa. Approx 98 percent students get placed from nie cs/is branch and for other branches it is 80-90 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fess structure of my college is like on yearly basis and the the tutuon fees of is approx 2.25lpa and addtional hostel fees or pg, moreover if you live in south india and you are north i dian it will take you more money to eat outside and with less fun in college. As i am from general category i dont get any scholarship.

Campus Life

The annual fest hosted by our college is techniqke and it is aprroximately conducted at the month of june or july. Their are preety enough amount of books available in our college but the library rime is quiet strict like it closes at 8pm. Classrooms are not facinating since old infrastructure. We have one sports complex called as diamond jublee complex and two playgrounds. The clubs run by our college students are gfg,gdsc,Ieee.

Admission

It was through comedk entrance exam. Eligiblity was 12th pass and resident of india. During that time the application fees was 1800rs and dates were around the month of march. The exam is now combined with kcet which karnatakka state board exam.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
