Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Btech(food technology) as it has a vast variety of job opportunities not only in the government sector but also through private food industries and a lot more foreign opportunities too. For each course, a lecture will be handling it, with lots of explanation and practical knowledge too. Each and every faculty of our college is a PhD holder with an ocean of knowledge in their specialization. The examination is as simple as the internals and externals both have 50 marks paper each and a bit of hard work is needed to crack the external exam paper. One of the most interesting aspects of our college is that for 15 members a counsellor will be allotted in order to look after each student's problems, educational improvement etc.
Internships Opportunities
Not all but few industries give the stipend to us like SULA WINES, BRITANNIA etc All the 4th year students will be put into a food industry for a period of 3 months where the work experience for each will enhance to an immeasurable one. Industries like coffee, biscuits, beverages, chocolate etc will be opted for by each student and based on CGPA the industries will be allotted to each of them.
Fees and Financial Aid
As discussed, it is a government college and when a student gets admitted through CET it may cost around 24000 per semester and 2700 per month is the hostel or mess bill. When compared to a lot more colleges in Karnataka, our college has overseen the fee structure in order to help students to achieve their goals through education. University scholarship will be given to each class for the top 12 members of that class with the highest CGPA(CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT ASSESSMENT)and state and national scholarships will be provided to all students except NRI(NON-RESIDENT OF INDIA) students. Even the ICAR scholarship will be provided to those students who admitted through the ICAR ranking
Campus Life
A COLLEGE DAY will be celebrated each year will an inter-class cultural and sports competition, for each winner team points, will be assigned based on the given points class will have highest points will be announced as the overall championship of that year. Each and every programme will be celebrated on that stipulated date, for example, soil day, World food day and a lot more. 1000's of books with about 30 sections have been made in the library, the technology used in the library is surprising each student will be given a smart card where he/she can borrow books without any trouble or waiting. The classes are so hygienic and each class is installed with a smart board that is a chalk powder-free classroom Sports and extracurricular activities are given a lot more importance where each and every sport is well equipped from a outdoor basketball to an indoor shuttle badminton court
