Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I have more interest in chemistry subject as compared to others. There are around 2 or 3 lakh students in one day around different states. Exams are sometimes easy or sometimes difficult. There are different criteria for eligibility of different courses.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides lots of placement facilities and also provide opportunities so that we can improve our talent. The placement opportunities came from different colleges and big companies. We show our talent to other colleges like dancing singing etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite good for a middle class family so they can afford that money for a year. There are chances of getting scholarship in the college so that they can help students to continue their studies easily and there family do not face any problem regarding the fees .They also provide placement to the students so that they can earn money for themselves and to support their family.

Campus Life

Our college fest name was sabrang. And the fest was amazing. Our college library is one of the best library in South campus. All books are easily available in our library. Students get all books they need in the library. There are many sports activities on our college. Lots of society are in our college.

Admission

Eligibility criteria for taking chem hons. course is that chemistry physics and maths subjects are compulsory. We can find the application form on du official site. There are too much glitches on the exam site during exam so this problem should be solved .

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
