What Students Say

Likes

PGDAV has 2 canteen and is one of the biggest canteen in the Delhi University.
There is a very big ground, cricket pitch, football ground, dedicated basketball and volleyball court, and a room for table tennis.
There is a gym also, where all the students can go and do workout.

Dislikes

Sometimes the quality of the food is not good.
There are many political leaders who spoil the environment of the college
The systems in the computer labs are very outdated.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because mathematical sciences includes mathematics, statistics,and computer science. A complete course who want to be a data scientist. The faculty is very good and vast and they are very intelligent and helpful. After 6 months semester exams are held and if you are studying whole semester then there is no difficulty in passing the examination.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provide the internship some of them are GLOBALCERT,INSPLORE CONSULTANTS PVT LTD etc. Major roles offered by companies are marketing, finance, project management, graphics designer, sales intern and HR intern.

Placement Experience

Placement of PGDAV college is very good because there is a dedicated placement cell who manages all the placement and placement and internship is available for 2nd and 3rd year students. Many topmost companies like HCL hire the students for our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 14500 in the first year and then 12500 in next two years and it's affordable for everyone and still those students who is not able to pay the fee will be provided the fee concession facility so that their fees can be reduced

Campus Life

The life at campus is very good because they organise many events and our annual cultural fest is AROHANA( previously AAGHAZ) and there is also a tech fest named XENIUM. PGDAV's library is also very big and have many books.

Admission

When I get admission in PGDAV college, the admission is merit based but now the admission is on entrance based examination CUET/DUET. This is the central level examination and only the students who clear this exam get admission in the Delhi University colleges.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students plan to go for higher studies like for MBA, masters with different specializations while some prepares for various government examinations like UPSC, CAT, SSC CGL,etc. The students become eligible for placements by the fianl year itself. Around 30% of the students get campus placements in various big companies like deloitte, zoho, airtel, meta, picapool, amazon, zepto, flipkart and many more. According to last year palcement records, the highest package was above 20LPA while the average package was around 7 LPA.

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mathematics as a subject is what i admire the most as it needs more critical thinking and solving rather than just cramming textbooks.The curriculum on the other hand does not really help to face the real life applications as the curriculum is pretty outdated and needs innovation.It can have more practicality and example based teaching.
