Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is super helpful and nice. Always clears our doubts whenever it arises. And can be approached anytime. The student-to-teacher ratio is 48-50:1 as the seats for the course for maths hons in Gargi College are very limited, so there's only one section. We have a variety of faculty who have worked with foreign professors and who have graduated from DU colleges and some have even graduated from IITs. The exams are held termly and the invigilation is very strict. There's no chance of cheating or any fraudulent methods.
Internships Opportunities
I got admitted as a sales and marketing intern at a company called Younity. A lot of opportunities arise for students if they keep their CVs and portfolios updated. A lot of positions are there such as in the field of digital marketing, content writing, sales, and marketing, etc.
Placement Experience
I'm still in my first year so I don't know about the placements. But the placement cell of GARGI COLLEGE is super active and provides students with a lot of opportunities for internships. A lot of students have been placed in huge companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in my opinion is pretty affordable as some private universities charge more than 1 Lakh per semester but Delhi University is charging just 10000-15000 per year. The most the fees go up to is 20000 which is in the case of colleges like SRCC and St. Stephens.
Campus Life
Colleges host a variety of fests. Annual fests, Diwali fests, departmental fests, societies fests, etc. The Library is well organized and filled with the latest Material. A lot of societies like performing and non-performing and one of the most prestigious societies Enactus is run by students.
Admission
I got admission via CUET which was held for the first time under NEP. It was very stressful and the arrangements were very unorganized and poor. A lot of students faced defective systems due to which they were not able to complete the paper on time. The application form could be found on the Samarth website and the dates were postponed again and again which was not good for the students as they couldn't prepare accordingly.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Statistics)
I only got allotted one college only after the cuet results
