Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I want to get into core finance & wanted to pursue CFA, & FRM in future. The student-to-faculty ratio is around 40:1 or even lower. All are well-qualified professors from DSE, JNU & ISI Delhi.
Placement Experience
Students from 2nd year or 5th semester are eligible for pre-placement offers. However, 1st-year students are eligible for internship opportunities only. Around 40 companies visited campus with their placement offers for Bcom. Hons, Bcom, B.A Hons Economics, & some BSc courses. Companies included some Big4 companies like KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, Wipro, HCL & many more. My plan after getting the degree is to go for MBA or MA in Economics.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is around 13000-14000 per year excluding examination fees. Yes, there is a hike in academic fees. Also, College & Delhi University both provide plenty of scholarship opportunities to each & every student.
Campus Life
My Economics department (Ekonomiko) of ARSD college conduct 2 annual fests which are Arthonics & Quaestus, it consists of various inter-college competitions in policy-making, trading, marketing & speaker session. The library is really very big & consists of both academic and non-academic books. The college campus is fully WiFi enabled with 4-5 connection hotspots. The college has an endless number of clubs/societies like Enactus ARSD, Hindi club, Commerce club, finance & investment cell, economics society, English club, students for seva & many many more.
Admission
My admission was totally through CUET-2022, I managed to score 582 marks & got B.A (H) Economics in the first round itself. You can visit cuet.samarth.ac.in inorder to register for the entrance exams.
