The admission is one jee basis, Application to the course and college is through jac Chandigarh the application dates start just after jee. The admission process is fine and systematic and there is a separate online portal for this.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chose this course in information technology as I had a keen interest in coding languages and the faculty-student ratio is fine here . Most of the faculties are PhDs and are very good by nature. The exams are carried out from time to time usually in a gap of a month or two. Two minor exams and one major exam is carried out each semester.
Internships Opportunities
As told by seniors some students get internship opportunities in the 6th semester and these internships pay a nice stipend as expected by any freshman in the field of jobs and help to get practical exposure in the market.
Placement Experience
As told by seniors some students are placed even in the sixth semester only, while most of them are placed in the seventh semester, many companies like KPMG, edurev, come to the college for placement drives. Some also get very high elite packages in off-campus placements, some got placed in amazon too. The average package for cs/it branches is around 6-7 lakhs. I look forward to a package above average package and getting placed in a well-reputed company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost-wise studying here is affordable and low as compared to other colleges in the city. A hostel facility is also available at the university. And it is fine and overall affordable and fine. The fees are also reasonable.
Campus Life
An annual fest goonj is held every year, the library is full of books and provides a very nice environment to study. The classrooms are well-ventilated. There are many clubs like euphoria, dance, debates, sports, etc.
