Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is very good it gives opportunity to focus on research. The course have 4 subjects they are mathematics, operations research, statistics/computer science and AECC. The AECC changes in every semester like in 1 semester we had English in 2 semester we had EVS etc.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement is good. Companies such as paytm, ibm , freelancer , etc are called to recruit the students. Students at a large number are chosen . The process continues until maximum number of students are placed. The pay differs from company to company. However the pay usually starts from 20,000 per month.

College Events

3.5

The college tries to celebrate each and every event with great pomp and show. Starting from the freshers party the day was made perfect for the new comers which also included great fun activities. The department fest like infinity, annual fest 'yuvaan' ,annual day, farewell are some events organised in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees is 10000 per year excluding examination fees. The fee in this college is extremely feasible being a delhi university college it do not charge too much . It is one of the most inexpensive college in the whole campus. However fees varies from course to course but still is inexpensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship for the students who cannot afford the fees. A test is conducted and the students who fulfill the requirements are provided with scholarships. The college allows the student to study or free or cuts down the fees almost by 75-80%.The college also provides facility to pay in installments.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is awesome gender ratio is nearly 1:1. The students are from different states. There is diversity of religion. Students behave very well with each other and have a sense of equality for every one whether they are of different religion, race economic status etc.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The college has got a girls hostel which is well settled. It has all required amenities that are required. The food is provided with a variation in the menu everyday to the hostel girls. There is a proper check on the health and hygiene. The mess also provides proper evening snacks, milk and fruits. No less than a delicious home food is prepared for the girls the timings for the mess are very suitable so that each and every girl could easily have food. There is proper security for the hostel girls. The hostel includes proper sanitation.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and friendly. They help us and provide us with necessary information. They had interacted with us at the beginning of our 1 year. They introduced themselves and then took our introduction. They told us about the faculty and the course. They helped us when we needed their help.

Exam Structure

No exams and labs are not very frequent. In each semester there is Internal assessment after which exams are held. Labs occur for 2-3 days in a week. Sometimes labs occur after the theory syllabus is completed. Then we have practical classes only. In each semester there is internal assessment of every subject and then the practical exam and after that there is theory exam of each subject.

Admission

When i reached the college for my admission the administration asked me for my certificates like passing certificate, mark sheet etc. They gave me a form to fill and after submitting it they made a file and then they gave me the receipt and returned my all certificates. The administration was good.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is very good. Most of the professors has completed their Ph.D and they are very much interested in teaching their subject. They motivate us and show us the right path. The professors teaches very well and solves our all problems. They regularly take tests and ask questions in class. Some are strict while some are not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
