Remarks

No, I don't think so because the whole staff and teachers engaged in the admission process are too cooperative. The students also help the freshers. The environment across the college is nice. There are different societies that also help students in getting admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are conducted timely. if a student attends classes regularly he/she is easily able to pass the exams. There is strict guidance during the exams. Teachers are cooperative. Staffs provide water during the exam.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 14100 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides very well internships and placements. There is a minimum 3lakh package job offered by various companies. there are regular internships are given to students. Various companies like Accenture, unacedmy also come for placement purposes.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think that the fees are too much high because as compared to other private colleges the fees reach up to lakhs. But here the fee structure is good even a poor child can accommodate it. Also, there are various scholarships provided by the colleges according to which the college returns half of the fee.

Campus Life

There are many societies in this college like dancing, painting, NSS, etc. There are societies that also conduct awareness programs. The societies for good development in the particular field according to the interest of students.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
