Good placements, great campus life

The admission process was pretty smooth and easy. The eligibility for the course is clear in the required cutoff in MHT-CET is mentioned on the college website. You can apply for the exam online. Reservations are also available for sc/st obc ews etc.

I chose the course because of my interest in the core subjects in ECE. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:80 in lectures and 1:20 in labs. The teaching methods are up to the mark and almost all the facilities have PhDs from IITs. The term exams take place every 5-6 months and the difficulty level is moderate. The course curriculum is very good and industry oriented and you can get to learn a lot overall throughout the semesters.

Some of the companies offering internships are ICICI Lombard, Deutsche Bank, SP-TBI, Skinzy, and JPMC. The average stipend is about 75k per month for internships. The companies give you tasks like developing their products/website etc

Students become eligible for the on-campus placements from the 6th semester. The names of some of the companies visiting the campus every year are Barclays, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Quantiphi, PhonePe, MSCI, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc with more than 95% of students being placed from EXTC branches. The highest package was 36.5LPA from Amazon and the average CTC is 15LPA the profiles offered are a data analyst, software developer, consultant, risk analyst, investment banking analyst etc. My plans after my Btech degree completion are to take placement for 1-2 years and then master abroad.

The fee structure for the general quota is about 170000rs for the academic year 2022-23. The fees for the reserved categories are comparatively less and mentioned on the college website. The fee hike doesn't happen every year and is mostly consistent every 3-4 years. The college provides a plethora of scholarships and financial assistance based on family income and other factors. The Training and Placement office caters to campus interviews for internships and placements happening in the college.

The college has many events going on throughout the year. The main techno-cultural fest is OCULUS which takes place in March. Some other events are AGILITY and SPOORTHI which are purely sports events and take place in November and March respectively. The library contains a variety of books from all domains with free access to wifi and study area. The classroom are also equipped with ACs and projectors. The campus has many sports facilities like indoor sports room with table tennis, carrom, chess etc. The college also has its own cricket and football ground, volleyball/basketball court etc. The college also has mang social groups and clubs like Ecell, Rotaract club, mudra which is the dance club, Spark which is the literature club, ELA, branch committees, Sports club etc.
