Remarks

I got my admission through jack Chandigarh based on jee mains. After the jee mains forums are out through their official website. I would say it was a bit hectic, after u reserve your seat in the rounds followed on basis of your priority order u are expected to reach their venue with all the documents. Get them checked, and verified. It's a bit time-consuming but has worth been t.

Course Curriculum Overview

Cse has the best placements and career-wise growth. The student ratio is as good as it gets in an engineering college. The faculty is good (knowledge-wise) but not supportive. All according to the calendar and it's easier for u to pass the exams if u have attended all the classes.

She is provided by fewer companies, though start-ups are abundant. You will get a lot of analyst role opportunities. For cs it, you can get a 10 LPA package if you are an average student who knows coding and core subjects.

Placement Experience

Placements in 7 sem. Amex, optimum, zs, and amazon are a few of the big companies that visit for cse/it branches. If you want to get a placement you will for sure get one. Only those students who are not interested don't get one, the rest get enough opportunities. Be patient. In quiet it's not a big deal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Small hike every year. The best college in terms of value for money. A good package is to fee ratio. All kinds of government scholarships are available, good job opportunities, and renound companies visit the campus.

Campus Life

Many fests throughout the year, the atmosphere is very lively and Chandigarh is just cherry on the top. Many tech groups here and a supportive crowd. Classrooms are ok, it is the education you should be looking for. PU has a big name in sports, all sports in inter-university are available here. Good grounds. All kinds of NGOs, fun clubs, innovation, and social, clubs are here.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are ok, food is ok, and washrooms are just ok. Meal quality is below ok Getting a hostel is easy if you have good merit in jee mains, otherwise very very difficult. The process is tiring for newbies, The affordability is just awesome, only 12k for a year. And all cons against just one pro, It's very very very convenient for us as the colleges are close. Don't dare to miss this opportunity if you are eligible for a hostel Grab it with your eyes closed.

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
