Remarks

The entrance exam for this college is JEE mains and this application for this college is provided in JOSAA counseling provided by the central government. Reservation benefits are available and so much improvement should be provided in the registration process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since my childhood, I have had so much interest in Electronic instruments and because of this interest, I opted for this course ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING. Qualification of faculty is very excellent.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship offers in our college are very good and 30-40 members in our course get internship stipends given are nearly 50000 plus and we should work hard to be selected for this internship.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are very good and 98 % of students are placed in many software companies and nearly 300 companies visit our college and my plans after getting the degree is to secure a software job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study at this college is very High. I am provided with an excellent scholarship named FFE (Foundation For Excellence). They are supporting with an amount of forty thousand. The campus jobs are very abundant.

Campus Life

so many annual fests OJASS, URJA, KALAASH, and many extraordinary Culfests and many technicals fests and events happen in our college. There are so many extracurricular events in our college and the amenities in our class are good.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
