Remarks
Anyone who studies maths in class 12th can take admission to the BMS course they just have to go through and clear an entrance test named DUJAT which has changed to CUET from this year, the minimum percentage to appear for DUJAT was 60% last time. Reservation is available for EWS, OBC, SC, ST and Armed forces children, the admission process is quite smooth you just have to register on the Delhi University website and have to apply for DU JAT as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course BMS was relaunched by Delhi University in 2017 before that it was a 4-year course which had given you a PG degree as well but in this new course plenty of syllabi have been cut out and only those things which add something practical to life of students are added, so the summarise this up the course BMS is quite a practical course and less theoretical, it will teach you how to be world leaders in the coming future.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not have a dedicated cell for internships however they will provide you with WhatsApp groups where they will post only those internships which are available for students of CVS only, but they won't help you further to all the steps of getting an internship. So one may have to look for different platforms to find an internship of their choice.
Placement Experience
Every year many companies visit the college for placements, the average package last year was 4Lakh while 50-60% of the students were placed, and the highest package was 12lakh, students get internship opportunities from the first year itself, I am going to pursue my MBA so I have not thought for placements from the college but the placement cell is quite good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the course is quite affordable, it costs 10000 per year, financially weak students can still get scholarships by filling out the scholarship form but that is subject to eligibility (merit-based), the placement of the college is quite good, the college has a dedicated placement cell which looks after you every year and tries to bring the best companies in the business for the placements, the average package in the year 2021 was 4Lakh.
Campus Life
The social life here is very great, CVS is popular for its fests and societies, fests are generally conducted in the month of March or April the library is decent there you will find a decent number of books, some of the books might not be available but overall the library is quite good, classrooms of the old building are average but the New Building classrooms are very good. We have a sports society as well but it is not dedicated to a single game, we have many sports events and anyone is free to participate.
