You have to secure a good rank to be eligible to admit to this college, according to your rank WBJEE, counseling will be done and then you will be admitted, the cut-off is around 11k if you see. And many documents u need to submit for the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because govt opportunities are high as well as private. Our faculty members are too friendly, give advice about carrier and inspire us, all the teachers are Ph.D. holders, the best teachers, and administrative activities are also quite impressive.

Internships are very good , you shouldn't worry about that, it is very high and u can easily get in third year , teachers are quite helpful to will get 100 percent help from teachers for internships and job quarries.

Placement Experience

Campus placement are average, if you study well u can get good company, so many companies visited in our college, placement persentage u can say around 84 percent , this companies offer good package and very good opportunities ahead.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government college, so very minimal cost u need to pay and so many scholarships are their for eg SVMCM , OASIS, minority scholarships, Aykashree etc. Placement opportunities are excellent u don't need worry about that

Campus Life

Every year a Tech cum cultural fest is organized and very much enjoyment happens. The infrastructure, classrooms, sports are awesome every piece of equipment is there, so many clubs there tech, cultural, and many more

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
