You can go through jee mains marks as we as through wbjee entrance examination and the cut-off range for CSE is from 10k to 17k The counseling process will be in three rounds through wbjee you can lock or float your seat according to your rank or score.

I had chosen CSE as I'm very much interested in new technologies and computer fundamentals. Also, the reason for opting for this is the growth of the IT sector in India and it will be a great influencing domain in the upcoming future.

Placement is quite good in our college. As everyone has almost 2-3 job offers. placement records are best of all. Companies like TCS, cognizant, Wipro, Trianz, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Infosys,kpit, etc visit our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite moderate as compared to other private colleges. Semester fees vary from 41k to 45k and there will be 10k/yr for training and development. Yes, there is the opportunity for scholarship and concession in fees for WB people who are under the BPL line.

Campus Life

For the last 2 years, there is no cultural fest or any other activities due to the pandemic of COVID. There is a library from where you can borrow books accordingly and there is a football ground and volleyball ground as well.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
