Remarks

Eligibility for BCom Hons is 55% in 12 and maths is mandatory for Hons. Visit the official website of du for the application form and other details du.ac.in Cut-off will be out for every category, the reserved category's cutoff is always less. The process of admission is very long they can keep it short for the convenience of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BCom hons because I m from a commerce background. The faculty of the college is very good and they are specialists in their subject mostly all the faculty are Ph.D. holders. Exams were conducted on a semester basis and if you attend the classes you can clear the exam but for scoring good marks you can refer to 10 years question paper.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities came on campus but not with big companies. Work-from-home kind of internships came often content writer graphics designing etc these are the skills required for internships.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement for 5 semesters. Many good companies like Deloitte Wipro byjus have come in the college they provide the opportunity for mostly sales job or marketing related jobs and some offers in the field of finance also. They give 3-4lakhs package maximum 6 lakhs. At least 20% of students are placed from campus. My plan is for higher study i.e.masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was not so high for bcoms hons it was 36000 for 3 years which is affordable for everyone. Many big companies like Deloitte, Wipro,byjus have come to campus for placement they mostly offer marketing-based jobs to students at a minimal package like 3-4lakhs.

Campus Life

There are lots of fests organized at the university best part is you can go to any fest of any college at Delhi University. There are lots of societies where students can become members of this like marketing society dance society music society etc. You will get every kind of book in the library and an e-library is also available.

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others.
