Remarks

The admission was based on the class 12th marks. The aggregate of the best four relevant subjects for the course in which one is applying is considered, English is the compulsory subject to include. Then every college at Delhi university releases its cutoff. If you meet the cutoff, you are eligible for admission.

I have pursued B.Sc. Mathematical sciences. This course is a blend of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Hence it gives a broad horizon to the students to pursue a master's. The course is not that difficult and the faculty of PGDAV was good.

PGDAV college has a really good placement cell. It is ranked in the top 5 placement cells in the entire Delhi university. It provides an opportunity for internships in one of the reputed companies in the job market.

Placement Experience

PGDAV college has a really good placement cell. It is among the top four placement cells in the entire Delhi university. The average package offered is 8 LPA. Students in the last semester are eligible to sit for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees charged by the university for the B.Sc. Mathematical sciences course was around 14-15 thousand per year. I have no clue about the scholarships that the university provides because I never got them, but they have a really good placement cell through which you can get good placements and internships.

Campus Life

The college provides a variety of clubs in which students can get themselves enrolled. For example, Enactus which is an NPO, and Geo crusaders which is nature society also there are dance clubs and sports clubs as well.

Around 30% of the students get campus placements in various big companies like deloitte, zoho, airtel, meta, picapool, amazon, zepto, flipkart and many more. According to last year palcement records, the highest package was above 20LPA while the average package was around 7 LPA.

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

Mathematics as a subject is what i admire the most as it needs more critical thinking and solving rather than just cramming textbooks.The curriculum on the other hand does not really help to face the real life applications as the curriculum is pretty outdated and needs innovation.It can have more practicality and example based teaching.
