Remarks

My college scenic beauty ia awesome. The faculty memeber was helpful. Also the eventa werw awesome be it sports or cultural or social. Besides i got some hills flavour which i liked the most.

Entrance Preview

I took WBJEE and ranked 16669,i option for this particular college is because i have got a scholarship and also this college is situated in such a lovely place where everyone can study with no pollution, no world problems

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is fully 4 years the 1 year is basic and rest of the tears are deep in the necessary department.the course structure is nice for the students to understand the subject we choosen so i think wbut is best that we have for courses that they choose for us.

Internships Opportunities

No , they do not provide any kind of internship , the students take the internship on their own from outside companies like BSNL , All India Radio.

Placement Experience

1.5

As I have mentioned earlier , There is a serious need of change in training and placement cell dept. Hardly 1 or 2 company comes. They doesn't even give placement to 1/4th of the total students. Course curricular is good, as a result of this all of the student got placed attending Off-campus interviews in Bangalore/Hyd/Pune/Mumbai like cities. I believe the problem lies in College Placement Cell.

College Events

2.5

The college organised technical festival in a year, every year the also organised annual festival and also fresher party for freshers.Every year college annual fest. Also seminar in different technology for different department as it is mainly a Engineering college. Also cultural events were held accordingly and sports event also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a bit expensive given the rapport and placement of the college. We had to pay a sum of Rs 40000 per semester as tuition + library fee. And the hostel and fooding was extra 24 thousand. The most irrelevant was the library fees which was 10000 per year, thats too much for 12 books an year.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the scholarships are available either it's regional or central. Loan facilities are also available for the students of college. It's hard work that makes the difference. I don't care how smart you are or how smart you think you are. Smart simply means you're ready to learn. Specially college holds a special cell for scholarships/loans.

Campus Life

4.5

No diversity as such workshops and cultural activities are excellent. Poor sports facilities Robotics competition and everything is excellent except labs, sports and robotics, debates.so i think its waste of time to comment on this topic and i feel horrible.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our college had no dedicated hostel. It had contracts with some of the private hostels. But the living condition was not upto the mark and the food was awful. Students preferred to live in PG's where they need to pay around 3500 for each month which included fooding and lodging.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong. Also faculty member keep in touch with the ex student. Senior student is very helpful there. My senoirs were the best. They helped me in every situatuon and behaved me like my elder brother. The bond we create there was unbreakable.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is quite interesting. 2 semester exam is there for 1 year. and each semester contains 2 internal exams, based on those internal exams the college send the internal marks to board for adding up that with semester exam. The exam is taken here very strictly.

Admission

I have given counseling for this college and i got the admission when i went to college and fill the necessary forms and joined immediately after that i went to college for final joining for classes and other stuff. The administration is bit nice for every one.

Faculty

3.5

They qualified, although I personally feel this is an area where the college should put emphasis more. And the course should be more JOB oriented. The main priority should be organising more campus interviews and also job oriented training classes. There is a need of changes in training and placement cell dept.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.
