Remarks
The admission for courses in DU for the year 2021 was 12th merit-based. DU released approx 7 cut off for each course in which you have to clear at least one cut-off to apply for the particular course. For filling the vacant seats at the end, DU also provided 2 special drive cuts off providing the last chance for students to take admitted to DU.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course to have a good catch on maths and gain great knowledge of mathematics. The ratio of faculty to students is approximately 1:200, which is enough to run an educational institute. The faculty is highly qualified and uses digital boards and slides to make understanding easier for the students. The exam term is of 6 months and the mode of exam is offline, where the difficulty level of the paper is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an annual fee submission for all courses at Delhi University. Due to reservations in castes, minorities, disabilities and sports quotas, there is a lot of difference in fees for students of the same course. DU provides scholarships to the toppers to help them financially. It does not provide any placement either on campus or off campus.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest is GRANITA, which happens in April every year. The college library provides a lot of varities of books of different genres. The benches and smart boards in classrooms are not well maintained. The seats are old and broken. The walls are not furnished properly. Overall the classroom amenities are very poor. The college provides great opportunities like state-level and national-level competition in different sports. The curricular activities are also given a lot of priority to enhance the skills of students. ABVP and NSUI are two students union at DU.
