Maitreyi provides a good financial assistance to students

Maitreyi college admission 2022 is ongoing. DU has released new guidelines for admissions to UG courses. From this year, admission to all DU affiliated colleges will be based on the CUET scores,the exam which was conducted by NTA. The admission process will be done in three phases. In 1st phase, the aspirant will have to fill CSAS applocation form 2022. In second phase, students will have to select college and courses. In 3rd phase, the cutoff list or merit list will be released and admission should be done on the basis of merit list. The application form of CSAS 2022 is available on the centralized admission portal. Also the aspirant should be eligible for the course if they passed 10+2 level with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board and they have chemistry + physics + biology / biotechnology / biological studies.

I choose this course because of my interest, I am intrested in biology and their branches. Instead of biology, we have to study chemistry and physics, which is a plus point for students. Maitreyi college has a well trained and experienced set of teachers about different departments due to which Maitreyi was accredited with grade A by NAAC. The teachers might overburden you with work but that was their way to hone your cognitive abilities and skills further. They are always there for us to guide us be it an academic problem or our personal problems. They have made everything easy for us. They are very helpful, they provide us notes and necessary pdfs. Also they help us in our assessment and examination preparation. In college, examination are conducted according to semester. Both theory and practical exams was at college. Examination question paper is not so easy as well as not so tough. An average student will be passed but for good score or CGPA, students will have to work hard.

Almost 20% of the students got placed in Bsc life science. The college has an active placement cell that motivates and guides the students in achieving their true potential by imparting present day skills. It aims to focus on taking up the role of mediator between the corporate sector and students to fill th existing space. The internship opportunities was given by college to students in various organizations and companies with a decent stipend. Many companies like Flipkart, Talking threads, Smart India Multi Management Institute,etc. provides internship to students with a stipend of 10k to 15k. These internships offers was provided to students from 1st year to 3rd year of bsc life science by college.

The placement cell of our college is very efficient as it widens opportunities for students and exposes them to various companies. The majority of students were pursued masters in various fields. Some of them were successfully selected in job categories like banking etc. The science students usually don't get placement benefits in the college. So the students have to be dependent on other sources for internships and placements. Many companies like Genpact and other visited Inside the college. Same was the case for previous batches too.

Our maitreyi college provides a good environment and quality education. Th fees of my course [ BSC (life science)] is 27,870 for three years. Fees for different courses varies. Our college also provides scholarships to students for their financial support in their education. The college is also known for its high salary packaged jobs. The majority of students pursued masters in different fields. Our college has good connections with almost best companies like Panasonic, google, etc. Ths college also provides internships opportunities to students with decent stipends for their financial assistance during the course. Instead of placement in companies, our college also gives opportunities to students to work for many NGO'S which help them to become a valued person in life. Around 50%of students have been recruited last year with an average package of 3-4LPA. The placement cell of our college is very efficient.

Our college is one of the oldest college of DU. It has good infrastructure. The college has well equipped laboratories with all the modern apparatus for different practicals. There is a good WI-FI connectivity, especially in the library. The classes are quiet big enough. The canteen offers a place for students and teachers intellectual discussion with tasty and delicious dishes. The college also has a well maintained garden. The library is fully computerized. We have a medical room with all necessary things. There were no hostels facilities. Our college has a well developed sports field. Many fests and concerts are organized in our college. Many curricular activities and programs are organized in our college at many festivals like women's day, Independence Day, etc. Many competitions are conducted by different departments. There are many societies in colleges for students like Vista, Filmesque, Abhivyakti, Apollonia, etc to encourage their talent in different activities.
