Eligibility, of course, is 50% in class 12th with science stream are eligible for this course. Application forms are available on the official website of Delhi university. 22.5% of the total number of seats is reserved for applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes. The OBC candidates shall be given a relaxation in the minimum eligibility in the qualifying examination and the minimum eligibility (if any) in the admission entrance test to the extent of 10% of the minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the General Category candidates for quota in DU.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Sc in Food Technology is a good course for students who are more interested in understanding the theoretical concepts of food science and technology. Faculty is very good and supportive. Semester-wise exams are held in our college. Exams are not too tough if you study 2 3 days before the exam you can score good marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is 18k rupees with additional 1400 rupees examination fee for one year. Scholarships are provided in our college such as PFNDAI- Protein Foods Nutrition development association of India for students having 75% marks in qualifying examination.
Campus Life
We have our annual college fest karvaan celebrated in the month of February and a departmental fest celebrated on world food day. All kinds of books related to our course are available in the college library. Various facilities are available in our classroom with well-equipped labs. Mukhauta and philyra are the dramatic and singing clubs in our college.
