Since our univeristy system is based on cutoff criteria. I want to enroll for course but my priority order was St. Stephens , Hindu , LSR , Hansraj then KMC . Then as per my marks in the CUET common university entrance test , it statistfied the required number for KMC . Hence I got admission here. I chose Kirori Mal College over others because it is located in the heart of University of Delhi. I only applied to local colleges and University of Delhi. I didn't get rejected from local colleges because I had a good enough marks in my boards examinations. To get admission in Kirori Mal College, you need to give CUET first, and after CUET, you have to get registered with CSAS UG which is the counselling for getting admission into any college in University of Delhi. I got confirmed my admission in Ranjas college before,But after upgrade I got seat Kirori mal college.I choose this college because Its mathematics department is more stronger than previous one.I did not applied for any other college or university because before I apply for any other college I got seat in Delhi university through CSAS. To get admission in kirori mal college,you need to give CUET UG exam after you completed your 12th class. you must secure 45-50% marks in 12th from recognised board. Then you have to register in DU CSAS portal. After CUET UG result out,the phase II and III of form filling is being started in which you have to make a preference list according to your choice. First of all I want to pursue Mathematics honours as it helps me get quite a few options for jobs in the government sector. I was eligible for the same course in Ramjas College and Sri Venkateswara College as well. Also I was eligible for BMS in SSCBS but I didn't see my career trajectory going that way so decided to with Kirori Mal College. It has probably the third best maths department in the University of Delhi. I applied to all the other North campus colleges for Bachelors in Economics and Maths but my cuet score wasn't that high as I was unable to perform according to my ability so I didn't get admission in SRCC, Hindu or Hansraj College. The eligibility differs from course to course. As such, there is no particular eligibility criteria. One has pass the class 12th examinations and clear the cuet cut-off. For my course, maths is compulsory as a subject in class 12th; the cut-off was around 750/1000. The admission experience was smooth.
