Experience of Campus life

The course curriculum is old and rigid and the teaching method is also boring. The teaching method needs improvement and less assignments should be given as they are hectic and not productive. There are Ge, Sec, Vac and Aec options which can help students study different subjects apart from their own course in the semester.

The placement of college is quite decent. The average package is five lakhs and the highest package was of twenty three lakhs in 2023. Though only specific courses gets placement most of the time like Economic honours has high placement chance.

My course fees in first year was fifteen thousand rupees and in second year it decreased and now it is thirteen thousand also there is financial support scheme for students whose family income is less than 4 lakhs they will get 100% fee waiver and whose family income is between four lakhs and eight lakhs will have 50% fee waiver.

My campus life is eventful. I have participated in departmentnal events. My course departmentnal society name is Mathapolis. I have participated in decor activities and for the performances held in freshers party and I also have joined two societies and the members of both the societies are friendly and really fun to work with.

I chose this college over other colleges because of the infrastructure and also the nirf ranking was good too. My course faculty is considered good in this college. I got admission in this college through Cuet, an entrance exam for students to get admission in DU and other universities. My target was DU North campus but I didn't get it because the cut off went high but this college is also nice.

The faculty of college is quite good. Some teachers are really friendly and approachable. We can ask them doubt anytime and they will clear it. While there are very few teachers whose teaching method is not understandable. There are 3 core papers of 90 marks (theory) there is internal assessment too. The papers are moderate, neither too easy nor too difficult.

My college is located at a nice location. It is near JlN stadium. The most common hangout spot is Lodhi Garden which is really safe at night also my college is near sunder nursery one of the famous parks of New Delhi and a cool place to visit. Also inside the college Basketball court and Amphitheatre is a place where students mostly spend time and Library is also well maintained.
