Remarks

Got admission through JEE Mains with a rank of around 20k in the gen category. The admission is online through the college website during the pandemic of corona. The college has good placement and internship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are well qualified and the curriculum is fully updated and great. We got to learn many more things and time management skills. Teachers are helpful. We got many opportunities for projects with teachers.

Class Size: 175Course Fees: INR 910000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This year's internship season started and already we have 3 to 4 companies visited already like Intuit, amazon, condensation, etc. Deserving candidates got the internship opportunities very well. Students also provide the project facilities.

Placement Experience

The placements are good. Companies like Microsoft nutanix visit the college regularly. This year Amazon was also hired from the college. The average package of the previous year is 16.75 lac and this is going to increase.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee hike of around 2k this year. The college fee is a little bit high but according to placements, it's ok. College doesn't provide any scholarship but gives every document essential for national scholarship l.

Campus Life

The college doesn't have its campus but the rented campus in which the college is currently present is very good. It has many facilities like sports and a gym. We got a good exposure to the city also.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are quite good and cheap. There is a let-bath attached to every room of the hostel. The mess is also on the college premises. There are a lot of PGs near the college. You have many options.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
