Library: The college library is well equipped with a large number of textbooks, reference books, periodicals, journals, and newspapers. The number of books in the library at present is about 29206. The library receives 87 journals and 10 magazines in specialized areas. The library consists of a reading hall, internet browsing center, reference section, open-access periodical and research library.

Transportation: Transport facility is available on payment basis to students and employees from all major destinations in Pune city and adjoining areas. The service is outsourced to a professional service provider and is controlled by the Administration department of the college.

Various companies recruiting from the campus and highest package being offered

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

What are the internship opportunities in the campus?

Internship opportunities was not that much you need to find it on your own, and gain some knowledge out of there, like I did web development internship in which you are given with tasks of designing of few pages and enhancing their functionalities.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

Computer science was always a thing that is loved by everyone, and as a Genz ofcourse we were always close to computers and this led me to choose to this curriculum. I have been taught best in college so that I can crack interviews based on DSA and OOPS and SQL knowledge. They can improve the curriculum by implementing more practical sessions than theoretical sessions. The exams were very frequent and due to overload of assignments was bit tough to study.

Fees structure of the course in the campus

For General the fees was high around 105000, in which 85000 was tution fees and rest was 20000 around, Exam fees for each semester was around 1000(excluding backlog fees) For ebc it was around 60000 For sc/st< 5000

Various clubs, sports and library of the college

In the college there were many clubs, Music club, Dance club, guitar club, Games club. Many events were organised, Avishkar , one of the most awaited event which is organised every year, Food fests and much more, In sports also volleyball court, Football court cricket everything was there, Talking about library, consists a plenty of books you require, you dont need to buy books from outside, you xan utilize you beloved library.

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

Hostel facilities were so good and affordable, Hostel rooms were so clean and big. Washing machine, geyser everything is there. Food quality is quite average, but they provide good food compared to other hostels, on special occasions they cook special food also.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

For computers, faculties were around 15, and students were 160(80 in each section). I liked Manjusha Tatiya, always helped whenever needed. Didn't like Minal, less knowledge around what she teaches usand very arrogant. In every semester internal, university and practical exams were there for each subjects, difficulty level for internal was bit tough but ultimately made student strong to clear university exams.

Admission process and eligibility criteria of the college

Firstly one of my cousin suggested this college, and as I didnt belong to Maharashtra so wanted a college in low fees and good placements and all my conditions were getting fulfilled here. I just applied to this college and got selected. Cutoff is bit high for JEE like more than 80 percentile.

My Review of Indira college of engineering and management

Likes

Most of the college faculties and specially principal are friendly and helpful and of course there are few exceptions but the management can change the teacher if their teching skill are too poor. The college is outside the city.
Activities like workshop technology, sports and practicals are conducted in groups which greatly helped introverts like me to make some friends.
The infrastructure is not so good because college is still under renovation. Water dispensers are placed inside toilets and there are no dustbins in each classroom.

Dislikes

The classrooms are poorly design and there are many flaws like our classroom door doesn't even hsve a basic handle to close it from inside.
The college is outside of main city and is literally in a village.

Admission:

I applied for Pes modern college, Aissms, Jspm tathawade for Alds, Alml and Cs but i couldn't get admission due to not passing the cut off. I chose this college because i was getting Computer engineering branch at my percentile.

Generally ,cutoff from Maharashtra CET exam is decent for taking admission. As known from this year AI and DS branch is started. So quite excited to refer others to have admission in this branch. This is make my college different from other colleges.

My Review on ICEM, Parandwadi, Pune.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Mechanical Engineering department in my college has only two to three good faculties which taught the respective subjects in full depths. All other faculties are only interested in finishing off the semester anyhow. Mostly all faculties are ME qualified, some have completed Phd while some are pursuing Phd. The faculty to student ratio is 1:40 for each subject. The term exams were never taken timely, it was always a rush, the department activities never went according to normal schedules which other colleges follow. Passing was very easy in these college level exams.
