Likes
- The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
- The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
- The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.
Dislikes
- I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
- The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
- The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has wide scpe that's why I got into this course. However sometimes I felt that curriculum should be changed and more computer related subjects should be included. Practical based knowledge should be included that will help students to work in industry.exam are little bit difficult conducted at the end of each sem by Mumbai University.
Placement Experience
The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
I belong to the sc quota there , therefore I got the sc facilities and paid the minimal amount according to the particular scholarship I avail this, depends on the criterias for scholarship like family income, and caste etc. however the open category fee in my college is 1 lakh 35 thousand. There my be different criterias for scholarship according to the caste you can check on official website for more detailed information or visit the college itself.
Campus Life
There are various events throughout our the year on special occasions . There annual sports events for all departments and cultural events are also there . The showstopper is fusion event which is for 3days where various games are played and there is DJ night at the end.
Admission
I applied for various famous colleges like VJTI, SPIT, and Vidyalankar and I could not got into those colleges because I got slightly less marks . I think my college is somewhat less as compared to these colleges interms of teaching, infrastructure and placements. I applied to the various college but got these college in my all two cap rounds the I decided to get admission here only
Faculty
The faculty students relationship is good whenever we approach teachers with our doubts they make sure that they clear all our doubts. I liked all the faculties they strive hard for the students. There are two internel assessment exams of twenty marks and term work , practical submission is also there and end semester examination of seventy marks
Night Life
There is canteen in the college , gym is also there. College library is good and spacious . There are hostel at Wadala however I opted travelling only. There is nothing in the surrounding areas of the college .In the college surrounding there are only highways, bustops and roads. About night life I won't suggest anyone to be in the college after 6 pm. It is absolutely not safe to roam around the college at the night.
