Remarks

There is few staps taken by management after my 3rd year completion. Infrastructure is moving towards good. Code of conduct is formed by pricipal and trusties.

Entrance Preview

My ambition was to be an electronics Engineer so went direct diploma after my ssc than i gone for degree. So thwre was no enterance exam but but but, there is common online admission form.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The coursee structure is bit different as compared to other universities amd very tough to get high marks with , there are 10 subjects in each year i.e 5 for each semesters. Each subjects are divided in to 5 units having weightage of 20 marks for exams. So most of colleges didn't get complete whole sylabus

Internships Opportunities

There were no such internship program from which we can garner our skills.if its available now for the current students than it will be helpful for them

Placement Experience

2.5

There were no such placements offered by our college since infrastructure is underrated & no placement officer hired by the college, since college is run by politian trust only wants to fill their pocket. but principal and facult is so nice to us that they offered some other offcampus placement when it was available to us & they even helped us.

College Events

2.5

When i was studied in last year college attained one National level event called eluminati 2k13, in which they had set blind c programming q, paper presention, e-quiz, robo race, etc etc, some common event which holds by students are sari day, tie day, rose day, chocolate days etc, last but not the list is sports. We hold special box tournament of mix gils & boys each team formed with 2 girls & 3 boys with 4 over match, with some different kind of rules for bowling. Carrum tournaments with sinle, doubles & mixed doubles. I got 1st prize in mixed double carrum tournament with my female partner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is simple and it is fisible to each person. For OBC,ST/SC & EBC class ther is free structure is same but ther is help from university fir eaxh categorized caste. For OBC and EBC students gets 50% fees refund in Nationalized bank on next year. But i disappointed when i knew that SC /ST categorized students can complete year with barely 400₹ having this much discount for some categories is partiality by government

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarship and loan facilities is offered by college... The one facility i used is from university funded & approved by it. Which is EBC facility In EBC(Economic backword class) facility offered to those whose whole family's yearly income is below 60000₹.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio in my college was not proper. Even electronic feild has more male gender professional Than female which is disappointed me. Since we are lacking in technology race from other countries in electronics department most of students& girls are goes to IT & Software courses. In these courses gender equality can be see.

Hostel Facilities

2

Since hostel facilities amd mess food were downgraded i moved towards paying guest. College hostel costs roughly 8000 to 10000₹ per year with nonproper maintenance, electricity lack of stationery store. Since college & hostel is located in village we have access all king of stationery and books from the city so i decided to live as paying guest in city.

Alumni/Alumna

There is small to non-exist alumni network from our seniors but our batch has alumni network, But our seniors are most helpful for books & notes. We rarely bought some books for study all we got was from our seniors only. So yes they are most helpful

Exam Structure

Since it is engineering course we have to go to the same(our) college for the written examination, it is very common in whole state universities.. As fas as practical examination is considered, it was gone very nice since practical knowledge is basic thing in engineering, so faculty were taken one to two session of practical in study leave before eaxams.

Admission

There is common admission proces from Maharastra state board, it is very lengthy but so far it is best way to get admissions without donation. We have to fill up all details after procuring online addmission get in which we got our registration code for online addmission. By registering we have to fill up all persional & academic details. After that we have to fillup all college names which we want to get addmission.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty were nice to us, they was very helpful in our pra tical sessions, all faculty are eligible to twach subjects as per university norms. If one of faculty member resigns on immediate effect, new faculy with Pershing higher course was hired to teach us.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
