RC Patel Institute of Technology Shirpur, was established in the year 2001. It was founded by the President of SES trust and SVKM, and Chancellor of NMIMS University. The institute has a strength of 500+students. RCPIT offers Btech in some of the major fields such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Science and so on. Placements in RCPIT go on for an entire academic year. Their training and placement cell frequently organizes programs/training for students to educate and spread awareness amongst students of the upcoming and emerging areas/tools/skills in the industry. Due to their continued efforts and hard work many of the RCPIT students have been able to bag offers in the world renowned companies such as TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cummins, Infosys and so on. The institute started placements in 2005 and has since placed over 600 students.
In 2021-2022 alone over 700 students have been placed from the campus. Moreover, the placements are still going on and are awaiting results from a few companies. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, DTDC, Reliance Jio and many more visited the campus. RCPIT is stretched across 7.5 acres, is a wide and large campus and includes two boys and four girls hostel amongst other modern facilities. The institute houses AC and ICT based classrooms, virtual classrooms, hi-tech labs, recreational and health care services, research centers, innovation and technology cell, with a high-speed running internet. The management keeps the campus facilities upgraded with the latest technologies. Additionally, the facilities are highly qualified and hardworking that march their students towards success.
The institute pays special attention to nurture the students and build up on their concepts of Science and Mathematics. For this at the beginning of the year a Foundation Bridge Course is organized for the students. Additionally, RCPIT organized several national and international symposiums and workshops, certification courses, employability development programs to upgrade students' soft and technical skills.

Ques. How is the Campus life of RCPIT?
Ans. The institute also conducts national and state-level workshops for its students and teaching staff in coordination with IIT Mumbai and ISTRO. Students' social activities are conducted under a separate division called SAKSHAM. Student’s attendance is of utmost importance in the institute and is conveyed to their parents via SMS. They are also intimated regarding their academics and every department also organizes a parent-teacher to discuss the same.
Ques. Are there any foreign language courses/training at RCPIT?
Ans. RPCIT offers language training in English, Japanese and German. Students are also prepared for International Certifications including ALTE and JLPT. The institute pays a keen attention on the personality development of students. They also have purchased a well-known software called Lingua phone and have prepared an advanced language lab. The institute also has ties with training agencies to train students for GRE, CAT, and TOEFL along with improving English speaking skills.
Ques. What is the cut-off required for the GOPENS category in MHT-CET for admission in Btech Computer Engineering Course?
Ans. The cut-off for MHT-CET for Btech computer engineering is between 80 to 79 for GOPENS category students. There are usually 1-2 rounds for filling the seats. However, the number of rounds is subject to seat availability. The total seat intake for the course is 180. The filling of seats is done through CAP and vacant seats are then filled on merit-basis.

Eligibility of course is that you should have passed 12th from Maharashtra board and also, you should have scored 82+ percentile in the CET examination. You can find the application form and all details regarding admission in the college itself. College should take exams after some gaps, the admission process is well going. College should not change anything in the admission process.

After giving engineering enterance exam the registration process happens and after 2 weeks the cap rounds are organised. After holding a place in cap round you will appear for next procedure of admission. You have to submitted all required documents after it your admission will be done.

Admission process is very time consuming. here students have to roam here and there for admission process. at first you have to go and pay the fees of stationary. for that, you have to stand in a big and big queue. after that you have to show stationary reciept to admission department then they will give you a amount specification for fees payment. then you will pay fees and after paying fees you will get the admission form.

One can pay 25-25percent fee every month or 50-50 percent in between 3 months. And after paying fees you can get the admission form which will be submitted to alloted faculty members

The fee per year for the electronic telecommunication is INR 1.15 Lakhs at the RC Patel Institute of Technology. You must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
