RCPIT Admission Process 2025
Admission to RCPIT is done through an online mode. Candidates willing to take admission in the first and second years are admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Candidates can follow the steps below for admissions.
How to Apply?
- Candidates first need to register themselves for the MHT CET exam and obtain non-zero marks in the same.
- Candidates can register themselves online through the official website of the CET cell, cell.mahacet.org.
- Students must also mandatorily register in ARC to participate in the central entry process. Students can register for the same online through the ARC website.
- Students who have qualified for JEE Main are also eligible for the counseling.

RCPIT Campus Facilities
RCPIT is stretched across 7.5 acres, is a wide and large campus, and includes two boys' and four girls' hostels, among other modern facilities. The institute houses AC and ICT-based classrooms, virtual classrooms, hi-tech labs, recreational and health care services, research centers, and an innovation and technology cell with a high-speed internet. Ans. RCPIT is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A grade and operates autonomously under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU). Ques. How is the campus life at RCPIT?
Ans. RCPIT conducts national and state-level workshops for its students and teaching staff in coordination with IIT Mumbai and ISTRO. Students' social activities are conducted under a separate division called SAKSHAM. Students’ attendance is of utmost importance in the institute and is conveyed to their parents via SMS. Ans. The cut-off for MHT-CET for B.Tech Computer Engineering is between 80 to 79 for GOPENS category students. There are usually 1-2 rounds for filling the seats. However, the number of rounds is subject to seat availability. The total seat intake for the course is 180. The filling of seats is done through CAP, and vacant seats are then filled on a merit basis.
