RCPIT Admissions 2025 BTech Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for admission for BTech at RCPIT, candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection is based on the MHT CET and JEE Main exam scores.

RCPIT Admission Process 2025
Admission to RCPIT is done through an online mode. Candidates willing to take admission in the first and second years are admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Candidates can follow the steps below for admissions.
How to Apply?
- Candidates first need to register themselves for the MHT CET exam and obtain non-zero marks in the same.
- Candidates can register themselves online through the official website of the CET cell, cell.mahacet.org.
- Students must also mandatorily register in ARC to participate in the central entry process. Students can register for the same online through the ARC website.
- Students who have qualified for JEE Main are also eligible for the counseling.
If the seats remain vacant after the CAP round, the seats are filled on a merit basis, the schedule for which is updated on the official website of RCPIT.

Ques. What are the eligibility criteria for BTech admission at RCPIT?
Ans. Candidates must have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, or Vocational subjects. They should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates from Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together. Additionally, candidates must have a valid score in MHT CET or JEE Main.
Ques. How can I apply for admission to RCPIT Shirpur?
Ans. Admissions to RCPIT are conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Candidates need to register online, fill in their preferences, and participate in the counseling process based on their entrance exam scores.
