Remarks

You must have Biology as a subject in your intermediate. The forms are available online at the official DU website. The website is a bit old-school type, so making the website simple will be much appreciated.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose Life Science because I wanted to pursue Bioinformatics and Bio Life Sciences covers all the major subjects and papers that one should know as a biologist. It also had Bioinformatics in the last semester.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

Some of my friends got internships from SlicePay. Apart from that, there are NGOs and other smaller companies which provide internships but most of them are not paid. Only students from the commerce field get more exposure to internships and placements.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college is not so open about placement, there is a placement cell that guides students about various things to keep in mind during placement. For the parts of companies as it is a graduation college so not many companies with fame are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is funded by the Delhi Government and the cost is studying is very low. It costs around 60K for a life science course. It is the highest cost course in the college. The locality of the college is good so there is plenty of PGs to live in.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is not so good. You'll meet amazing people, and make friends with them but the college administration is old school, so they don't even allow you to sit in the class if there is no teacher. Don't expect an annual fest. The college doesn't give funds for that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that i had opt for is one of the best courses available at the college itself It brings more experience and lessons for the science students and provides them with right learnings and practicals to be better in their area and to have the right knowledge These teachings were very elaborated and explained thoroughly. And the difficulty level of exams used to be somewhere between mid to a bit hard level.

I would rate the life science course curriculum at Dyal Singh College as moderately comprehensive. A key factor that influenced my decision to choose this course was a balanced mix of practical and theoretical exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Chemistry department of Kirori Mal college is one of the best in Delhi university. Most of the professors are highly qualified and take proper classes and put in extra efforts at times to help you with internships and stuff. Exams are like any other college exam, you can pass them by studying before 10-15 days, but my advice would be to study regularly as it helps build your concepts.
