Remarks

So the admission was on a merit basis. A total of 5 Cutoffs were released by Delhi University. Other than that. Two special cutoffs were released when the seat remained empty. Meanwhile, the opening cutoff for Hindu College was 99%. So Competition here is not easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was in love with this course from the beginning. It's my passion that's y I chose this course. Faculty members here are no less. They are so warm and welcoming. They treat you as a friend and clear all your doubts. Every faculty is a Ph.D. holder. Semester-wise exams are conducted twice every year and the difficulty level is medium

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There's a separate internship cell in the college. We call it Abhyaas. It gives you opportunitiesnity right from the 1st year. It hires interns for various job roles like BDA, recruiter, Data Analyst, etc. You also get certificates and stipends around 8-10k along with the experience.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is a placement cell named Disha in the college which keeps you updated about all the companies and job offers. Thousands of companies bring their offers and recruit students in the third year. The highest package is about 35 lacs. And the average package here is 7 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for any course in Delhi University's College is not that high since they are centrally funded institutes. The fee for the English Hons program is 17500 right now, which I think is very nominal.

Campus Life

4.5

It has one of the best campus life among India's colleges. The vibe here is magical. Seniors are super cool and friendly and helpful. Annual fest mecca gathers huge crowd from all over Delhi Colleges. It has 3 floored library buildings where you can find almost all the books.

Other Applied Colleges

St Stephens College | English Hons

Because I was not meeting the cutoff

Area that should be improved that is treat every student similarly without any discrimination. Faculty don't even tdke action on sol, IGNOU and NCWEB students. So I think it should be improved firstly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very broad and relevant, it covers both theory and practical aspects of the subject. It is very nice to prepare for further higher studies, though more real-world cast studies and interactive teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant to the current aspects of real world. It is also very focused on the practical component of the subject and helps us know how to apply our theoretical concepts in real life. Aspects that influenced me were: the practicality, the relatibiltiy of concepts and the testing approaches as well.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

The course curriculum I took is okay considering the low placement percentage from the college's side which is I would say sometimes bad and good at the same time as the students can find their own way around such things. Faculty just complete the topics. we have to study ourselves.
