Remarks

This course is open to students of all fields. They can pursue their career in this field irrespective of what they had in 11th and 12th. The application forms and dates are available on the college's web page. It is frequently updated hence not creating a barrier to the admission. The cut-off also is not very high. A person scoring above 80% can get in this course after the cut-off is released. Reservation benefits are also given in the cut-off list which makes it easier for them to get admission here. The admission process is pretty much smooth but if you have some documents which are not with you then you might face some issues. So it's better to keep your documents ready before the admission starts.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Due to the covid, the exams were delayed but sufficient time is given for the preparation of each exam and the syllabus is evenly divided as well. The things that are to come in exams are taught well before the exams. As for the difficulty, the exams are easy if you know the concept or the basic things of the subject. If you've attended your classes, you would not face any issues. Overall, they are not very tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is not a lot considering that this is a college under Delhi University and also the funds are provided by the college for various events as well. Exams for scholarships also are conducted which helps the students a lot. The students are well informed about the exams because of the seniors and teachers. So that no one misses them. As for the jobs, internships, and placements, the students have a society, particularly for the internships by the name of Eminence, it is the placement cell of IHE. It provides a good amount of exposure to the students in these sectors.

Campus Life

4.5

The life at IHE campus is anything but boring because people are always indulged in one thing or other. Events are always going on or are right around the corner. Due to a number of societies that are in the college, students get a lot of exposure and a platform as well to showcase and Excel on their talent. The annual fest of IHE, previously names FERIA is conducted around the month of March in which a variety of events take place whether it be dance, debate, music anything. Apart from this fest, there is another fest conducted by the Journalism department of IHE, bringing together again a number of events and various colleges to come up and perform. A library is there in the college itself offering a number of novels and also a number of books for studies where students can sit and study/make notes. The teaching staff also helps a lot when it comes to the matters of studying. One can also issue a book and use it. Societies also offer a huge help to the students and bring out

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
