Remarks

I applied for a B.Sc. in Microbiology and the cut off for general was 85% (PCB). The details for the same can be found on the official website of Delhi University. The admission process was smooth, and the staff was cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue research in the future. We had a 1:20 faculty-to-student ratio. Teachers are well qualified and are well informed about current topics in this field. We had exams after every 5 months (a semester system).

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the course I applied for, the semester fee was nominal. The fee was affordable, and financial help was provided to students who couldn't afford it. There are many opportunities provided by the college for outstanding students.

Campus Life

We had an annual festival in the month of February every year. There is a well-maintained library which has a variety of books and journals related to courses provided by the college. We had a popular fashion and dramatic society.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

My choice for B.Sc. Hons Food Technology in this college was not due to limited options but instead of that I knew what career choices I wanted to make for the life that I manifest. The Institute of Home Economics- new but a legacy soon

It was not like that I wasn't getting admission in other colleges except this one but the chice that I made was majorly due to the career planning that I had done in the early stages. I chose this college because of the advanced facilities it provide and also it is easier to commute for me to the college and back to my home and vice versa. Everything you needaa know about your college.

I chose this college as it it ranked in the top 3 amongst the other 8 DU colleges which has this course. Also, the location i find it too convinient for me. This college has very limited courses so there are decent number of children. I got confirmed admission from Gargi College also but that college has a bad reputation for things.
