College is alloted to the student based on their choice filling, all india ranking or category ranking ( SC/ST/OBC) and cut off through the Josaa /Csab counselling.

Electronics and communication engineering is one of the best and most highly demanding engineering course . It has high scope in the future. The ratio of faculty per student is very good . The faculties are well educated and are highly qualified in various fields. Teaching skill are good. However, exams are slightly tough but one can pass them easily. Exams are conducted in the interval of 1-2 months.

In our college internship opportunities are very good. From the 5/6 semester, one can get internship opportunities. Many companies like Amazon, Qualcomm, Deloitte, and Samsung are providing internships with a good amount of stipend.

Nit Jamshedpur has excellent placement records and recently its obscure average package gets increased. Nearly 200+ companies visited every year and 800+ offers were made. Companies include Amazon, Qualcomm, Tata steel, Atlassian, Deloitte, Samsung, and many more. Almost 97% of students get placed every year.

Nearly it will cost 7-8 lakhs to complete this course. One can avail of various scholarships like NSP, any state scholarship, private scholarship and can apply for fee remission, where one can get remission on their anual family income.100% tuition fee waiver for sc/st students. Almost all students get stipend on campus.

Campus life in Nit Jamshedpur is very awesome. Many cultural and technical fests are held every year. Ojaas and cultfest are the major fest that held in our college. Sports facilities are very good and Urja fest regarding sports is helds every year. There are many social clubs like NSS and sankalp and technical club like phoenix, revanta and many more. Culture clubs are faces, beatbreakers and so on. Our College have one large library having large number of books and journal.

The College campus has a total of 13 hostels - 9 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels. Mess foods and its menu are good. Hostel rooms are also good and the facilities provided are awesome. The registration process for a hostel is very easy just one has to submit some necessary documents.
