Remarks

NIT Jalandhar is one of the best engineering colleges in India, and the college's cutoff list is not too high. Admission to the college is done through the GATE entrance exam, and a GATE qualification is required. I applied for the college through the college website and took the GATE exam. When the results were released, I was able to meet the college cut off, so I had to submit my academic records and documents for verification. Within a week, I received an email confirming my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college curriculum is current and follows all types of corporate advancements, and the syllabus assists us in staying abreast of the most recent industrial modifications; in short, it keeps us current. PhD holders with extensive technical knowledge make up the college faculty. The faculty is the one who assists us throughout the placement process. The teaching methods used by the faculty are an outstanding and appropriate blend of traditional and innovative techniques.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is considered necessary, and we are eligible for it once we have completed the first year of our course. We can only be considered for an internship if we complete 90% of our classes. Around 35+ industries consult our campus for the internship period, and therefore we must register for the placement cell in order to participate.

Placement Experience

4

The college's placement performance is unquestionable. The university placement is excellent because the college is the leading engineering college in India. The college has a proven record of 90% acceptance. The highest placement offer at the college is 30 LPA, and the average salary placement is 10 LPA. Qualcomm, Microsoft, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, JP Morgan, and American Express are among the top college recruiters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college also provides excellent scholarships through a variety of programmes, including the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Merit Scholarship, National Scholarship for ST/SC, Post-Matric Scholarship, Dr Partap Singh Memorial Scholarship, Siemens India Scholarship for first-year engineering students, and Dr M Sen Memorial Scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The college's infrastructure is excellent. Our college life is fantastic, and we have numerous opportunities to socialise with our peers. A volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis facility, hockey, kho-kho, and kabaddi ground are also available at the college. The college library is also excellent. There is also an ATM on campus. On the college campus, there is also a medical facility. The cafeteria is excellent, and the food served is delicious.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities are excellent, and the architecture is well maintained. The hostel rooms have adequate ventilation. Beds, almirahs, and study tables with chairs are standard amenities in the rooms. The hostel mess food is of good quality, so we are served special dishes during the holiday season. The hostel wardens and staff are extremely helpful and work extremely hard to keep the hostel neat and clean. The hostel's decorum is well maintained.

There is a placement and training cell in the university but the main task of that placement in training cell is to go for the internship of the students though the university also provides training in different fields for the students that includes some faculty training programs some UPSC exam preparation and some government exam preparations that makes the students ready for outer world but basically the main focus of the university is on the search as it is a research University not a placement based University after post graduation I plan to pursue research.

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.
