Remarks

I didn't have any Computer Science related courses in my school, but still, I managed to get admission to S.G.T.B. Khalsa. The only requirement is to have an aggregate percentage above or equal to the cut off of the particular course in which you wish to take admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Almost 90% of the syllabus is similar to the B.tech syllabus. All the important Computer Science subjects are covered. Some important math topics necessary for C.S. are not covered but you can find many online resources for that. The faculty is well qualified. Almost all the teachers have a P.G. degree and many are pursuing PhD. Lots of scopes to learn new things.

Fees for this course are around 27k/year. I think it is affordable for most families. I come from the General category so I don't have much knowledge about the scholarships provided by the college. There is a placement cell which brings internship opportunities for the students of SGTB Khalsa.

Campus Life

The annual fest of Khalsa college is Lashkara, which is conducted in the month of February. Apart from it, there are competitions on a regular basis conducted by different societies of the college. The library is well maintained and has all sorts of books. A sitting area is also available for those who wish to study in the library. Most of the rooms in the college have functional ACs.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly
