the admission process was smooth. At my time 12th class grade was taken into consideration for the merit list. Also, the cutoff for history honours was 91 per cent for general. The application form was online. One thing I like was that the college was quick in response. Also, the Head of the department was of a very helpful nature. He responds to the inquiry calls of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love reading History so I chose this course. The faculties are really nice. They are very helpful. They make the class environment very light and not serious like in schools we used to have. Most of the faculties have done PhD. In my course girls and boys ratio is 1:2. exams are held timely and I think 1-month of serious preparation is enough to get very good marks. The difficulty of the exam is neither very easy nor very hard. You can practice previous year's questions and after solving them the question pattern is quite predictable.
Fees and Financial Aid
History honours fees are Rs. 7150 for 1 year. Many Scholarship opportunities are available in the college for students of different backgrounds. You have to get information from the office about the scholarship tests.
Campus Life
Fests are generally conducted in February and November. They are so amazing and refreshing. Our college Library is the largest library in Delhi universities with lots of books and journals. Our classrooms are decent with good space. There are many parks in our colleges as well as we have a very nice canteen with decent food at affordable rates. You will get almost every dish you think about-north Indian south Indian Chinese non-veg snacks cold drinks ice cream. There are many societies in our college like Malhar for singing, Electra for dancing, Abhivyanjana for debates poetry etc. There is also NCC. Proper greenery is maintained in our college.
