Experience at Tezpur University

I chose this university as my brother recommended me as it is a central university, and so many opportunities will be here. I applied online through the application portal and paid an application fee of . For getting , I submitted my JEE mains marks and clearing the cutoff, I was called to the university campus for further process i.e personal interview, verification of documents and admission. Final selection is based on overall performance of the candidate.

The course curriculum is up to date and revised courses are given to us. The course is of 4 years. It provides us the knowledge of coding technique and computer technology The faculty are very qualified and professional and modern teaching methodology to teach us. They are from PhD level with good industrial experience.

My university has a decent placement records from past years. It has uniquely channeled Trainings and placement cell that is designed to work according to the well being of students. In my batch almost 75% students got placed in placement drive. The top recruiters are Byju's, TCS, Infosys, SBI Life, Chegg Life that participated in the placement drive. The average package is around 5 LPA and highest package is around 8LPA for my batch.

The overall fee for cost me around 2.11 lakhs and Rs. 26000 per semester There are many scholarship available for needy and also on merit basis , but I didn't applied for any as the fee structure is not very high. These are UGC Merit Scholarship, Inspire Scholarship, Post matric scholarship for SC, ST and OBC, Merit-cum-Means Based scholarship for professional and technical courses etc. To know more about the scholarship program one must visit the college's official website.

My institute is at no. 1 when we compare with the services offered. The university is full of greenery providing nature friendly study life. There are facilities of swimming, wifi, library, labs, canteens, park, playgrounds, basketball courts, volleyball court, etc.in the campus. The college mainly organizes several fest like cultural fest, sports tournament, regional and national seminar, conferences, versity week, youth fest and annual fest. Also celebrates national festival like republic day, independence day etc.
