I took the Joint entrance examination for NIT and IIT. When i got around 94 percentile in jee i opted out for counselling and filled out my college prefrences. In the special round conducted by josaa at the end of general counselling i got NIT silchar Civil branch. The general cutoff for jee was 89 at that time. So i got there in NIT silchar on the date given to me by college for admission process. Basic documents were verified on the JOSAA website itself before the physcial reporting in college. i opted out for the fee relaxation as my family income is less than 1 lakh. i had to submit that income certificate. When i got into college i had to fill a form with my basic details and had to verify all the documents again physically there verified by college proffesor.
