Campus environment with lot of greenery and with beautiful ponds in the campus .

Course Curriculum Overview

we had 4 semesters in a year 2 semesters and it was of 2 years course. I choose marketing. In the first 2 semesters, we learned everything from HR to finance and after 3rd semester we had only marketing classes till 4th semester.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship at Airtel Guwahati Office as a marketing intern. Where I got to know real corporate life and how to work in an organization. The offer was provided by college TnP coordinators.

Placement Experience

The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was about 2.5 lakhs and which includes hostel and mess fees along with the MBA course. I got a job at 4.5lahks and I am satisfied with it. The fees were less for me and since it was a national importance college so it was very good. There was no scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus was too big with beautiful scenery and it was a peaceful campus. Hostel life was awesome and I got to meet different people from different parts of the world. I made many friends and it was a good experience for me. There is a huge library.

Admission

I took the MAT Exam for the entrance exam and an MBA for the National Institute Of Technology. For admission, we need a minimum of 60% in the MAT exam. For which I got 74% and after this NIT conducted the Group Discussion round. I cleared the GD round after that there was a personal introduction round and after this process, I got a call from NIT regarding the admission process.

Interview Experience

Yes, I faced GD and personal interview round for admission. GD's topic was good and the topic was easy and for the interview round, they ask me the graduation-related questions the basic ones. After all this, I got the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

LIFE at TU

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.

MBA in Tezpur University during Pandemic

Placement Experience:

In our 2 year full time MBA proggramme students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. Many reputed companies like Airtel, Coca-Cola, American Express takes part in the placement. The average package offered by the companies is 4-5 lacs Per Annum. Above 90% of the students of our department gets placed at the end of the course.

Best University in the entire North East

Remarks:

Faculty and the infrastructure are pretty great. The environment is optimal for learning. Overall best B-school for learning financial management. There are lots of corporate exposure. Placement is good as compared to other B-School in the region. I will suggest everyone to join this institute.

I get this college after qualifying jee mains exam through josaa counselling. I want NIT Durgapur but I miss out by only 1500 rank . Before NIT Silchar I get NIT patna civil engineering in first round of counselling but due to better placement stat and campus I choose this one . My admission process is very smooth where the help desk counter and senior help new comer. On my admission day I also get my scholarship id i.e, roll no. Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

I chose this college mainly due to its large campus and facilites and decent placements. This college has a great alumni network and has the best clubs and societies among top colleges and also organises one of the best fests. I could have got a better college but my rank didn't allow me to secure admission into the top ones. Our college only accepts JEE Mains score as the admission criteria. I chose this college as NIT Silchar is an allrounder package, you want academics? Done! Fest? Done!! Every wing is awesome. From the very first being in my home state, it was the best college I can opt for after IIT Guwahati. I did got offers from other colleges government and semi, but NITS gave me my favourite branch and secured future. This college has a great placement records in PSUs for core branches and great IT sector companies for other branches. After jossa I applied in different nits as per my rank I got electrical Engineering department. NIT Silchar is one of the prestigious nits. As per nirf ranking it comes under 7th ranking.
