Remarks

the admission is done by NEET a national test that requires a real hard work to get the cutoff for LHMC. For DUMET students its its around 650 for our year whereas for AIQ its even higher to around 680. Reservation benefits can be availed at the time of counselling itself that is done completely online and transparency is maintained. State quita 85% can be used through government issued domicile or schooling in case its from delhi itself. the counselling takes place from the official sire of nmc which requires you to fill all your prefdered options for colleges. the cutoff of LHMC in 2020 was in top 7 nationally. its a DU affiliated institute, reputated enough nationally, and is really good in academics and clinicals. a team pf about 8 members at the time of counselling double check all the documents, crossverify them and then you head towards the registrar for admission letter. the list of the documents to be presented on the day of documents verification id on the website itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

i always wanted to be a doctor so not thinking much i opted for mbbs from one of the best institute in india-LH. There are about faculty of 1p or 12 per subject for the whole class. the are postgraduates(md) again from different very reputated institutes across india and even abroad. term exams are conducted half yearly, and they require to genuinely study day and night to pass. you really need to have good theoritical knowledge for the exams to clear. the annual exams called proffs or professionals are real difficult. there are two theory exams for every subject and then a practical each.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

internship is offered to all the students is related hoapitals and is mandatory for all. its not that hectic but is indeed help to lear a lot. they are taught there to handle the patients solve their problems and also that in all the fields of specialisation.

Placement Experience

4.5

the hospitals associated to the college is where interns and students learn a lot from. the clinical postings start from second year itself. interns earn about 50-60k per month after fourth year. suchita kriplani hospital, kalawati saran hospital are the associated hospitals to the college and some may even get a chance to serve ram manohar lohia. all of the students require to work clinically to pass the course. being a central affiliated college the patient load is quite good but not as hectic as vmmc and safdurjung hospital, or aiims.

Fees and Financial Aid

ig there hasnt been any fees hike for last 5 years and the annual fees is just 1355, which is least of all the college in india mp. you dont really need to work to afford the college, but college and govt do provide certain scolarships that timely faculty give info about to afford other expenses on campus like books etc.

Campus Life

4.5

the interdiverse social life on campus, there are people all across the country, there os good senior junior bond, the annual fests are really the best. the different socities extracurriculars like that for debate, sports, dance, singing, supports groups for lgbtq community and what not. the life is intellectual and fun. its a conplete growth of an individual.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

hostels are good no doubt but the faculty in charge is real heck. they dont listen to our problems and in the end are to be solved be self. there is a gym in the campus which is quite equipped and good. meals are good, we get to eat three times a day and a refreshment meal. registration for hostel again needs document verification and allottment process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Bcoz in mbbs in addition to money there is also a lot of respect, plus it is easy to explain what are u doing ? 2. There are a total of 100 students in our batch and there are at least 2-3 assistant professors, 1 head of department, and at least 4-5 postgraduate and senior residents 3. Assistant professor and Head of the department has already completed there pg's and has experience of 5-10 year of teaching, Senior resident had also completed their pg but the difference between sr's, AP, and HoD is that sr's have lack of experience 4. There is an exam after completion of a particular unit and this is easy then comes the term exam which occurs after 2-3 months it comes under the category of moderate then there is pre-proof before the proof this is quite hard even for some say it's harder than proof, then finally comes off the last exam of that particular year after proof another year start bcoz results of proof usually take 2,3,4 weeks at least
