Remarks

I got the information 9f this college from online portal. The eligibility of this course is that you have to have atleast 50% in your graduation before taking admission for this course. The application form fees is rs 200. And the admission procedure generally starts from june-july

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is my favourite subject. But the faculty members are so helpful and so environmental. The exams happens in semester system but there is a monthly class test and there are assignments as well

Placement Experience

The placements are pretty good in the university.... There are many companies where the placements are given ....And moreover every year the placement percentage is generally above 95% ...the students are placed in many good companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is generally right as the amount charged is justified. There are many scholarships provided from the university ... And there are a high percentage of placements given from the university.

Campus Life

There are annual fest conducted in the year and there are much availability of books and journals provided in the library. And there are sports as well as extra curricular activities in the university

Placement Experience:

Most of the placements that took place at least for the literature departments ended up with people joining educational institutes and NGOs. Very few joined corporate enterprises like Accenture. My Experience as an MA Graduate in Jadavpur University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for camous placemens from the third semester onwards. Companies that have visited the Departmet of Comparative Literature witth campus placements offers are SVF, Hoichoi, Radio Mirchi, Papertrue, LearningMate, among others. Highest package offered by companies is 8.5 LPA Percentage of students getting placements is 85% My plans after getting my MA degree is to go for a PhD.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

I applied for Adams University and then techno India University but everyone said this university is better than those universities so I applied for this university and it is truly great rather than other universities. Addmission process was quite good, as eligibility of the course only 60 students can be admitted in these course. There is a minimum requirement of 60%marks in the 12th , directly come to the college for addmission related queries, it is very good feature that you can fill the form up online.
