People get reservation benefits only when they show the documents from the competent authority.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I like studying philosophy and this course helps to get practical knowledge about life and ethics. It helps to get to a conclusion by building a solid argument and critical thinking about a particular argument. It helps in making good decisions with solid arguments and proof. The faculty is well known and they are well qualified with all the degrees and they also teach in a very practical manner giving a minor detail about the subject and the topic. The test happened after the first semester but teachers take up assignments and class test.

Internships Opportunities

4

The companies which come to the college are Nestle, Yes Bank, Wipro, Oyo accept and they offer different kinds of roles like content writing graphic designing marketing human resources the stipend is around 2000 to 5000 per month but it largely depends on the companies and their policies. Please internships are to make students industry-ready so that they can sit for jobs confidently and their resumes are also so well.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students can sit for internships right from the first semester and if they have the relevant skills the company is asking for then there are no barriers in the year of study. But there are companies who take up students who are either in the second year or in the last year the highest package is around 12 lacs per annum and the average package is 5 lacs per annum for different profiles of a graphic designing content writing company campus Ambassador debating coach at 17 students getting placed around 60% and for the students go for higher studies either in India or abroad. My plan is to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for this particular course is around 14160 rupees which is the annual fee for the particular subject. There is an additional fee for appearing in the exam which is around 500 rupees. The college gives scholarship and financial assistance to the students who qualify the eligibility round and show up all the valid documents. The job is oferrd at the end of the third year to the final year student if this it for campus placement.

Campus Life

5

The college conduction annual fest is open to all the Dew colleges and there is also a particular department first of philosophy which is conducted in the month of February. The library is also well equipped with all the relevant books and journals and the classroom is also spacious and aerated. Sports facilities are also good with extracurricular activities happening all over the year and their also social groups and clubs in which students can participate and enhance their particular skills. There are clubs like debating club quizzing club fine art society dance society etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

My course is on a difficult side . There are subjects like statistics and maths which are too practical and hard . But this opens my mind towards practical approaches. Moreover the demand for this course is much more then its related courses like bcom and bba.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I have a keen interest in pursuing in Economics field as a career and hence my degree perfectly aligns with my career goals The curriculum is not very effective when we talk aboht the real world exposure however it is very good for further academic pursuits The curriculum could be a bit more practical based where we get exposure to the real industry as well. The exams are held twice in an year. The difficulty level is moderate
