IIT Kharagpur Review

IIT Kharagpur is recognised as the institute of national importance. The college is among the top engineering institute in India and the college faculty is well qualified. The college seats are allotted through JOSAA counselling. I cleared my JEE and appeared for JOSAAC counselling and was allowed admission to IIT Kharagpur. I was allowed a seat in Aerospace engineering as I was also interested in it.

The curriculum of the college is very good and as [er the latest industrial developments and regulations. The curriculum is designed in a way that helps us to develop innovative skills and help us to think in a broader way. The curriculum also helps us to improve our decision-making skills. The faculty is the one that helps us a lot to improve our skills, especially decision-making skills. The faculty teaching methods are very good and aerospace engineering concepts are very complicated and the faculty helps us to and teaches us in a very simple way that we are able to understand the concepts clearly.

We can attend the college internship program after completing the second year of our program or in the mid of third year. The internship is a very good opportunity for us to learn something new. The internship is paid and the average internship stipend is around 65k.

The college is one of the most popular in terms of placement. The college's highest salary offer was 1 CPA and the average salary offer is around 20 LPA. The college is able to maintain a very good record of 100% placement. The college placement committee members are very experienced and they help us n the college placement rounds in every possible way. The college return on investment meant is very good.

Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Full Scholarship, Institute SC/ST Scholarship, Endowment Scholarships, etc are some of the scholarship schemes names through which the college provides scholarships. The college complete course fee is around 3.50 lakh which is very reasonable in comparison to the other top university probably the college fee is the most affordable in the competition.

The college campus life is very good. The college infra is good. The classrooms are very well designed and the college also organises many technical and annual fest in which we get an opportunity to demonstrate our creative work. The college labs are well maintained. The college campus has a WiFi facility. The library is very well designed as we can find all types of books and self-help books are also available in the library.

IIT Kharagpur has 21 hostels and these hostels are known as Halls of Residence. The hostel rooms are very good fully furnished and properly ventilated. The rooms are available on double and single sharing. The hostel mess food quality is very good. The hostel campus has a high-speed WiFi facility which is available free of cost. The wardens are properly trained. The hostel is always kept clean as the hygiene is properly taken care of. The security of the hostel is very good.
