IIT Kharagpur B.Tech Artificial Intelligence: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The total year wise fees is 3,12,500 which is divided as follows for 1 semester- Fees for Hall Budget is 1000.00 Fees for Mess Charges is 14500.00 Fees for Hostel Overhead Charges is 970.00 Fees for Medical Registration is 200.00 Fees for Registration is 400.00 Fees for Library Caution Money is 1000.00 Fees for Hall Establishment Charge is 20130.00 Fees for Hostel Caution Money is 4000.00 Fees for Institute Caution Money is 1000.00 Fees for Alumni Subscription is 2000.00 Fees for Students Brotherhood Fund is 200.00 Fees for Gymkhana is 600.00 Fees for Technology Film Society is 100.00 Fees for Tuition Fee is 100000.00 Fees for Student Welfare Fund is 300.00 Fees for Medical Examination is 200.00 Fees for Statuary Fee is 1500.00 Fees for Hostel Admission Fee is 1000.00 Fees for Modernisation Fee is 700.00 Fees for Examination is 500.00 Fees for Student Amenities is 800.00 Fees for Hostel Seat Rent is 750.00 Fees for Internet Connectivity is 600.00 Fees for Electricity & Water Charges is 1000.00 Fees for Laboratory Contingency is 800.00 Fees for Student Welfare Policy is 2500.00 Obc and general students gave the same fees, while for sc/st students tution fees was ommmited meaning 2,00,000 lesser fees per year. There are scholarships like merit-cum-means scholarship this scholarship provides monetary help based on economic background, there are many other similar scholarships, almost all of which cater to families with annual income less than 8 lakhs for most scholarships while below 6 lakhs for some of them.Also department topper in each department(department does not mean branch rather each department has various branches) gets fees discount. Also their is a scholarship for students scoring more than 60% in advance(which I did but didn't get cause of family income criteria which is family income should be below 8 lakhs).

Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Full Scholarship, Institute SC/ST Scholarship, Endowment Scholarships, etc are some of the scholarship schemes names through which the college provides scholarships. The college complete course fee is around 3.50 lakh which is very reasonable in comparison to the other top university probably the college fee is the most affordable in the competition.
