Remarks

For admission, you have to qualify WBJEE with securing rank in 10 thousand. During the counselling of WBJEE, you find the name of the college name in the list. The admission process is quite disciplined. But you have to be aware about all deadlines

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is one of the top courses in today's India. College faculties are helpful. Maximum teachers are PHD or M Tech. There is a semester exam conducted by MAKAUT after every 6 months. Exam's toughness is moderate.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 361700 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Flipkart come for campus internships. You have to start preparations for it from the 1st semester. Projects are most important in your college career. As nice you make projects you can get more opportunities.

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester, you are eligible for campus placements and internships. TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, AMAZON came to our college. Almost every student got placed in these multinational companies. I've also planned to join this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are described detailed in our college website. Every penny is a good investment for studying in AOT. And if you have any financial issue you have to secure more cose rank in entrance. So that you can join college through TFW quota

Campus Life

Our annual fest is named ACRADEA. This is great and cannot describe in words. Central library, digital library and reading room are present in college. The classrooms are awesome. There are many sports opportunities.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
