Remarks

Jee Mains gave and cleared category wise cut off belonging to the general category. In 2017 cut off was off100 and scored around 100 so I cleared and got admission in Punjab University Chandigarh college of engineering and technology on the basis of marks

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of 4 years every year 2 semesters and total of 48 subject all 4 yr. faculty is qualified and have specialization in their respective field of teaching through college being a govt. management is not that good

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Got placed in around December and joined an intern who worked there for 6 months got no stipend nothing. also upon contacting the college concerned faculty no support was shown. that said company would not visit the college next year. but the company visited again and hired some students

Fees and Financial Aid

fee for 1 sem is 37000 rest of 7 semesters is 32000. keeps vary depending on the situation and as per university orders the same fee for all braches students. scholarship for top 3 academic students. 1st position full scholarship, 2nds and 3 position holder with half scholarship. Also no tuition fee for sc st students who have avg Gpa of 6.5 throughout the year.

Campus Life

apratim is only fest organized once a year by students and all monetary terms are handled by faculty. So not much happens. Clubs all are self-funded by students. College does not provide any kind of support in terms of the monetary, platform to students. they go themselves to other college to perform

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

Life, Academics & Growth at PEC

Placement Experience:

The placement for overall college is around 13 14 LPa But if you specifically choose CSC rec then this average will increase for CSE is around 17 lakh and for ECE is around 1500000 per annum Student become eligible for placement from third year onward. In 2025 the highest CTC was given by Apple around 63 lakh. Since I am doing civil engineering I will go in government exam preparation.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
